Well, it's happened.

I've become a USPS rural carrier sub. I'm working at least 4 days a month, Saturdays along with any personal or vacation days the regular carrier wants to take. It's not an easy job, especially in bad weather. The money's not bad and although the days are often long, it's an honest living.

So, for the time being it's just me in Leona, the occasionally self-healing Buick, barreling down the back roads of Marion, delivering bills, junk mail and other assorted surprises.
